What We Do

Nine services. Three pillars. Every step of your journey handled.

Study abroad isn't one decision. It's a chain of forty decisions made in the right order, with the right support at each link. ZSR covers the entire chain โ€” from a student's first career question in secondary school to the keys to a student apartment abroad.

Study
Pillar One

Education guidance, from first question to final offer.

Every student we've ever placed started somewhere on this spectrum โ€” from a secondary school student who doesn't know what they want to study, to a working professional with a degree and a clear destination in mind. Our four Study services are designed to meet you wherever you are and move you to where you need to be.

Complimentary 01 โ€” Career Counselling

For students who want to get it right from the beginning.

We provide free, structured career counselling sessions for secondary school students โ€” SS1, SS2, and SS3 โ€” designed to map out a foolproof professional future before university applications even begin.

In a typical session, we work through the student's aptitude, academic strengths, realistic income trajectories in different career fields, course-to-career alignment, and which countries reward which professions most generously. A student targeting nursing should not be applying to the same shortlist as a student targeting software engineering โ€” and that decision should be made in SS2, not the night before WAEC results drop.

Best For Secondary school students (SS1โ€“SS3) and their parents planning 2โ€“4 years ahead.

Outcome A clear career path, a course shortlist, and a destination shortlist โ€” all aligned with the student's aptitude and the family's budget.
Core Service 02 โ€” Credentials Assessment

Before you apply anywhere, we run the numbers.

We conduct a rigorous evaluation of every credential you intend to submit โ€” WAEC, JAMB, NECO, degree transcripts, professional certificates, English proficiency scores โ€” and align them precisely against the entry requirements of our partner institutions.

This step quietly kills most applications. A WAEC grade that reads as a B at one institution reads as a borderline fail at another. A 2:2 from a Nigerian university maps differently in the UK than it does in Canada or Germany. A TOEFL score that opens doors in the USA won't be accepted in France. Our credentials assessment doesn't check your documents โ€” it strategically places you in front of the institutions where your profile is strongest, and tells you honestly what gaps need closing before you apply.

Best For Undergraduate and postgraduate applicants ready to apply within the next 12 months.

Outcome A defensible shortlist of institutions where your credentials genuinely qualify you โ€” and a gap-closing plan for anything that needs improvement.
Core Service 03 โ€” Country Briefing

For the parents and sponsors writing the cheques.

The student is going. The parents and sponsors are paying. These are two very different conversations โ€” and we run both.

Our Country Briefing is built specifically for the parents, uncles, and sponsors who are funding the journey. It covers full financial requirements (tuition, living costs, proof-of-funds thresholds, currency risk), admission requirements, visa timelines, what happens if the visa is refused, whether the student can work, and how quickly the family can expect a return on their investment in the form of a qualified, employed graduate.

By the end of a Country Briefing, the sponsoring family makes their funding decision with zero anxiety and zero ambiguity. That clarity produces clean financial documentation. Clean financial documentation produces visas.

Best For Parents and sponsors finalising their funding decision for any of ZSR's 19 study destinations.

Outcome A country-specific cost and risk briefing โ€” so the family invests with complete confidence.
Core Service 04 โ€” Admission Processing

The application, managed end-to-end.

Once the destination is chosen and the credentials confirmed, ZSR manages the entire admission process โ€” from the first draft of the personal statement to the moment the unconditional offer arrives.

This includes: institution shortlisting, personal statement and SOP drafting, reference coordination, application form completion, submission, follow-up communication with admissions offices, handling of conditional offers and any required additional documentation, and offer negotiation where applicable. For students applying to multiple countries or multiple institutions simultaneously, we coordinate all timelines so no deadline is missed and no offer expires unactioned.

Best For All undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral applicants โ€” across all 19 ZSR destinations.

Outcome Unconditional or conditional admission to a programme that matches the student's grades, budget, and career goal.
Immigrate
Pillar Two

Visa processing that actually gets approved. Both kinds.

The majority of Nigerian study abroad applications that fail, fail at the visa stage โ€” not because the student wasn't qualified, but because the documentation was weak, the financial evidence was structured incorrectly, or the application told an inconsistent story. ZSR's visa processing is where we do some of our most precise work โ€” and where the investment in getting it right is most clearly felt.

Core Service 05 โ€” Student Visa Processing

The visa application that the embassy says yes to.

ZSR manages the complete student visa preparation process for all 19 of our destination countries โ€” covering the UK Student Route, Canadian Study Permit, Australian Subclass 500, US F-1, German Student Visa, Schengen student visas, and more.

Our process includes: documentation audit, proof-of-funds structuring (we work through how to present your financial history so it reads cleanly to a visa officer), Statement of Purpose or Letter of Explanation review, pre-submission file check for consistency across all documents, submission coordination, biometric and medical appointment scheduling, and โ€” in the event of a refusal โ€” a full refusal analysis and reapplication strategy.

We've handled post-refusal reapplications for students who initially applied through other agencies. In the majority of cases, the refusal was preventable. We say this not to shame the previous agent but to clarify what careful preparation actually looks like in practice.

Best For All ZSR students after receiving an admission offer. Also available for students who applied independently and received a refusal.

Outcome A visa application built to withstand scrutiny โ€” across any of ZSR's 19 study destinations.
Core Service 06 โ€” Tour & Holiday Visa

For the families visiting their students โ€” and for everyone else.

ZSR processes visitor, tourist, and short-stay visa applications for individuals and families who are not travelling for study purposes. The most common use cases in our client base are parents travelling to visit a student abroad, families taking an international holiday, individuals attending business meetings or conferences, and prospective students who want to visit a campus before committing to an application.

We handle UK Standard Visitor visas, US B-1/B-2 visas, Schengen short-stay visas, and visitor visas for Australia, Canada, UAE, and other destinations. The documentation requirements are different from student visas but the principle is the same โ€” a well-constructed application tells a coherent, credible story. That's what we do.

Best For Parents visiting students abroad, families planning international travel, and individuals on short-stay business or leisure trips.

Outcome A visitor visa application prepared and submitted with the same care as every other ZSR document.
Travel
Pillar Three

The logistics that make the journey actually happen.

Getting a visa is not the end of the process โ€” it's the start of a logistical sequence that, if poorly managed, can undo months of careful preparation in a single day. ZSR's three Travel services exist to make sure that the student who leaves Lagos or Asaba or Kigali lands at their destination on time, in the right place, with somewhere to sleep. Every time.

Travel 07 โ€” Educational Tours

See the campus before you commit to the country.

ZSR organises structured educational tours for groups of students, school cohorts, and families โ€” visiting universities, attending international student fairs, and meeting admissions representatives in person in the destination country.

For students who are deciding between two or three countries, an educational tour is often the single piece of information that resolves the uncertainty. Seeing a campus, sitting in a lecture hall, and speaking with a current international student is worth more than any brochure. For secondary schools looking to expose their students to international education options, we offer structured institutional visits as part of our educational partnership programme.

Best For Students deciding between destinations, secondary schools running international exposure programmes, and parents who want to see a campus before funding an application.
Travel 08 โ€” Flight Booking

The itinerary sorted before the visa even arrives.

ZSR coordinates flight bookings for students, families, and educational tour groups โ€” identifying the most practical routing from Lagos, Abuja, Asaba, or Kigali to the destination city, coordinating layovers, and arranging airport-to-campus transfer where applicable.

This is not a travel agency service bolted on for revenue. It exists because students who manage flights independently often make avoidable errors โ€” booking into the wrong terminal, missing connection windows, or arriving outside the window their university accommodation has them registered. A student who lands correctly is a student whose first week goes smoothly.

Best For All departing ZSR students and their accompanying family members. Also available for educational tour groups and families travelling to visit students.
Travel 09 โ€” Student Accommodation

A bed on the first night. Always.

ZSR sources and coordinates pre-arrival student accommodation โ€” university halls, private student housing (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation, or PBSA), and verified short-term rentals for students who need flexibility during the first semester.

We work with accommodation providers in the UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, and other key destinations. Where university halls are oversubscribed or unavailable to first-year international students, we identify vetted private options in safe, student-populated neighbourhoods โ€” within reasonable commuting distance of the university, at a price that fits within the student's budget plan.

Best For All departing ZSR students. Particularly valuable for students going to cities where the university's own halls are limited โ€” London, Manchester, Toronto, and Berlin.
